It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Simone D’Amore, age 79, of Niles, IL, on Friday, February 20, 2026. Born in Casamassima, Italy, devoted husband of Lucia (née. Marsico). Loving father of Adriana (Benedetto) Camarda and Domenica (Raffaele) Maione. Cherished Nonno of Giuseppe Camarda, Simone Camarda, Joe Maione, Simone Maione, and Carmelina Maione. Dearest sibling of Luigi D’Amore, Pasquina Bernatski, and preceded in death by Serafina Spinelli. Adored by many other family members and friends.
