Miskovich, Vera Sophie, (aka Miskovetz) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 7, 2023. Vera was born on January 9,1930 in Chicago, IL and remained a resident of Chicago for her entire life. For most of her career, Vera was employed by Home Lines Steamship Company and had wonderful opportunities to travel the world.  She ended her career at age 86, having worked 18 years at EPA. She loved the hustle and bustle of working downtown. Vera was also an avid shopper and loved to share her purchased items with many others, both friends and family.

Vera is survived by her godchild Patti Kiolbassa (Rod) along with seven nieces and nephews: Diane (Mike) Lovda, Nadine (Ron) Gasior, Steve (Lisa) Miskovetz, Janice (Howard) Donnally, Linda (Clarence) Falstad, William Miskovetz, and Mary Kuempel. Vera had many, many friends throughout her life but Sophie (Miskovetz) Alexeyuk remained her forever friend her entire life.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents Sophie and Ivan Miskovetz, two infant brothers, and two cousins William Miskovetz and Steve Miskovetz.
