On Thursday, January 24, 2019 Tracey Ann Peterman (nee Bassi), age 53, completed her life's journey surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Marvin, loving mother of James and Michael Boltinghouse, dearest daughter of James Bassi and Jaime (Rodney) Hurda (nee Schmitzer), sweet sister of Christine (Robin) Mair, step-sister of Scott Hurda, dear aunt of Emily and Brett.

Tracey was born on August 25, 1965 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from McHenry East Campus High School in 1983 and worked for many years at Alexander Battery, the Woodstock Courthouse and ultimately Dollar General, which allowed her to split her time between living in Florida and the Chicagoland area. Tracey married Marvin in August 9, 2008.

Tracey was a kind, gentle, easygoing person who loved the beach. She was brave and strong and always had a positive attitude. She especially enjoyed cuddling with her cats and spending time with her family.

The wake will be held on Saturday, February 2 from 2-7pm at The Original Rago Brothers Funeral Home, 7751 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL. There will be a private service at the cemetery for family.
