Tana Marie Malatare made her journey to the spirit world on October 17,2025. Tana was born on June 25,1986 to Clovia Malatare(Afraid of Bear) of the Oglala Lakota Nation of Pine Ridge, South Dakota and Leonard Malatare, Cree and Salish from the Flathead Indian Reservation Montana. She is survived by her mother Clovia Malatare; her father Leonard Malatare, her daughters Natalie Cree Arguijo: Ehani Wicahpi wiya and son Dakota.Her brothers Charles Cosson, Richard Cosson and her sister Tamji Sarah Cosson. Her nieces: Desiree Afraid of Bear, Phezi Hota wiya Cosson, and her nephews Dakota Malatare and Kent Eli Whitney. She was preceded in death by her sister Kiva Rae Cosson and by her brother James Earl Malatare.
