Sandra Marie La Salvia, Daughter of Stephen and Anne Kozak, beloved mother of Rocco La Salvia Jr. (Teri), Anthony La Salvia (Nicole), Dina La Salvia Shepard, Grandmother of Samantha Rudnicki (Anthony), Joseph La Salvia (Marilena), and Richard Shepard (Stacy) Great Grandmother (Benjamin Rudnicki), soon to come baby (Sophia Rudnicki), sister of late (Rick Kozak), Aunt of many nieces and nephews and a friend of many , passed away on Friday, September 4th 2026 at the age of 79. Born on November 30th 1946 in Chicago, IL.

Sandra was a devoted and loving Mother who dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered for her unconditional love, kindness, strength, generosity, and the love she showed to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Sandra's family was her greatest joy, and she took great pride in the lives and accomplishments of her beloved family. She created countless memories through family gatherings, cooking, baking, and holiday traditions.

Sandra had a great love for music, entertaining, love for animals, shopping, and sweets. She had such a warm way of making everyone feel welcome and her caring heart made her someone people could always turn to. Our beloved Mother was a woman whose love knew no bounds. She was the matriarch of our family, always putting her children and loved ones first. Her kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched everyone around her.

Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing that her love will remain with us always. She may no longer be by our side, but she will forever be in our hearts, in our memories, and in the lives of everyone she touched. She was not only our mother; she was our home, our comfort, and our greatest blessing.
