Samuel Vera was born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico on December 1, 1934. He had six brothers and two sisters. He was born and raised in the evangelical faith. His parents were devout Christians who were well respected in their community of Castaner, Puerto Rico.
In 1952, he came to the United States and lived with his eldest brother. In 1962, he married and had three children. In 1980, He retired from Itt Miller.
He was bold and not intimidated to share about his faith. Every chance he could, he shared with strangers about the truth of Jesus Christ. At dunkin donuts (one of his favorite spots),the park, restaurants. He didn't hesitate to share. Samuel is survived by his children: Samuel, David, Evangely. His grandchildren: Samuel, Vanessa, Malissa, Natalie, David. Great grandchildren: Isaac, Israel, Jailene, Mikayla.
He always said..when you gotta go...you gotta go...
