Age 87.  Beloved husband of the late Theresa "Tess", nee Rago.  Brother to Robert (Nancy).  Brother-in-law to Mary Lou Naselli, Anita Rago, Louis (Margaret) Rago and Angela Rago. Dear cousin to Rich (Kathi) Weber.  Caring uncle of Lisa (Jeff) Schmidt-Cassano, Jeremy (Martha) Naselli, Joseph (Juliet) Rago, Anthony (Kathy) Rago, Mary (Thomas) Dobrinska, the late Michael Schmidt and the late David Schmidt.  Fond great-uncle of Jessica Cassano, Ryan Cassano, Sidney Schmidt, Joseph Naselli, Daniel Naselli, Teresa "Tess" Naselli, Gabriella Rago, Louis Rago, Michael Rago, Mia Rago and John Dobrinska.  More than just a neighbor to Richard and Sigrid Polanek and family.  Since his retirement from Rush Hospital, Ron faithfully volunteered over 10,000 hours in 19 years at Loyola Hospital.  Ron would not make plans on a Saturday in fall without checking Notre Dame football schedule.  Memorial visitation will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5 - 7 pm with prayer service at 6:30pm at The Original Rago Brothers Funeral Home 7751 W Irving Park. 773-276-7800 or ragobrothersfuneralhome.com
