PAUL HENRY BRANT- In Memoriam Mr. Paul Henry Brant, 95, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2023, in Ruskin, Florida. He was born on October 22, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. Paul was a private and loving individual who had a passion for travel, food, physical fitness, nature, photography and preserving his family history. He cherished his family and is survived by his caring sister, Muriel Black, loving son, Jeremy P. Brant and dear grandson, Caden D. Brant. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and his parent Helen Bransky, as well as his son, Jason D. Brant. Paul had enlisted and served in The United States Army as a Private First Class stationed in Korea in 1947. He had received his education from South Shore High School, Morgan Park Junior College, and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating a Letterman and Kappa Mu Alpha from the University of Colorado in 1949. Throughout his life, Paul excelled in the business world, specializing in real estate and sales/ trading. He was an employee of the State of Illinois. He was a dedicated, resourceful, and independent individual who made a significant impact in his pursuits and in bettering people's lives. He was a good listener and always knew how to use his wit to make a story interesting and humorous. He loved classical music. He was pragmatic, was a master at problem-solving, and always gave the best advice. He was charming, considerate, caring and supportive. He will be greatly missed. Paul's family and friends will gather to honor his memory at Wunder's Cemetery at 3963 N. Clark Street, Chicago, Illinois 60613 on Thursday January 4, 2024 at 12 noon.
