Monika M. Alfer, age 83, of Chicago, IL, passed away on September 8, 2025, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her son Thomas Alfer. She is survived by her beloved spouse of 64 plus years, Karl Alfer, and children: Andreas Alfer (Jessica), John Alfer (John Wilhelm), Steven Alfer (Ana), and Susanne Alfer. She is also survived by 3 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter, who brought great joy to her life.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Rago Brothers Funeral Home, 7751 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago, IL 60634
