Michael E. Cook, 66, of Wheeling, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, February 2, 2022.  Michael was born in Chicago, IL, October 19, 1955, to Catherine Cook (nee Puccio) and Clarence Cook.  Michael passed 1 yr, 6 mos, and 3 wks after his beloved wife Elsa, who went before him.  In addition, he was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his daughters Acacia Vega and Selenia Velez and grandchildren, Hunter and Kinsley Vega.  Also his brothers John Cook and his wife Debbie, Dan Cook and his wife Tina, and brothers-in-law Alvar, Hiram, Hermes and Orlando Velez and numerous nieces and nephews.  His love for God and family was second to none.  He enjoyed music, sports, working out and billiards.
