Margaret received her R.N. from St Anthony du Padua School of Nursing. She worked at St Anthony's Hospital and Hines VA Hospital before beginning her 28-year career at St. Anne's Hospital in Chicago. Positions she held during that time were Staff Nurse, Head Nurse, Area Supervisor, Assistant Director of Nursing and finally Director of Nursing Professional Affairs. She was part of the disaster team for Our Lady of the Angels School fire and the Brach Candy Explosion. Despite working full time and raising a family, she returned to St Francis College to earn her B.S. degree. She retired in 1984 to pursue golfing and traveling. Hers was a life well-lived, and a life we gratefully celebrate.
