John Joseph Plesnicar, 77, of Chicago, IL died February 5th, 2023. John, son of Anthony and Emily Plesnicar, was born on the Southside of Chicago. He moved to the Northwest side, where he was married 54 years to his surviving wife, Joan Marlene Plesnicar. He is also survived by his children, John (Mary), Scott (Darlene) and Kim (Kyle), by his grandchildren Violet, Nora and Nolan, by his two dogs, and several grand-dogs. John was a loyal friend and hardworking telephone man that sacrificed everything for his family. Those who truly knew him know how generous and loving he was. His unique humor and personality touched many. His weekly visits with his family and grandchildren were a great joy in his life. John was also a devoted White Sox fan who took great pride in the '05 World Series win. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A private ceremony will be held for immediate family.
