Age 92, passed away Saturday May 21 in Niles. Born Nov. 11, 1923 in Chicago to Rosario and Rose, nee Bonadonna. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Carmella, nee Ritrovato. Loving father of Dr. Russell J. (Shaun) and Joseph J., Jr Esq. (Sara). Beloved grandfather of eight. Fond brother of the late Mary Cattero. Dear brother-in-law to Rosemarie Podlasek, Anthony Ritrovato, Joe Ritrovato. Caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Friend to many. Served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded four Bronze Battle Stars. Retired after 40 years from CTA, worked 20 years for Chicago Cubs.
