James Nicholas Mark
a.k.a Simmy, a.k.a Ace
March, 20, 1944 - September 30, 2024
Married his High School Sweetheart Geraldine Barry, Father of 7 Daughters, Bridget (Oscar), Debbie (Rick), Diana (Rich), Traci (Pat), Lois (Dave), Tricia (P.J.), Natasha, Father, a.k.a "Old Man" to 1 Son Jimmy (Giselle). Grandfather to 15 with an ever growing list of Greats!
With "Born to Raise Hell" tattooed on his sleeve he was a Union Painter, a budding Entrepreneur, an avid but perhaps sometimes too adventurous hunter and fisherman, an Owner of a Horse Racing Stable and after retirement discovered a wild love of treasure hunting at estate sales and doublin' his money on EBay.
A born and raised Chicago Foodie he happily did his duty keeping local hot dog stands and pizza places open for decades.
Enjoyed trying to order a pepperoni pizza at the McDonald's drive-thru a little too much.
Never had to wait in line at the local Post Office since he'd randomly "drop off donuts!"Best friends to all the pleasantly plump birds, squirrels and furry pets on Kildare.
Fought the good fight being the last man standing with his trusty Flip-phone.
