66 of Norridge. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Lestina). Devoted father of Carolynn (Ben) DeFano, James (Tina), and Laurie (John) Kovalcik. Loving grandfather of Angela, Gina, Amy, Ashley, Emily, Katie, Steven, and Tracy. Dear brother of Joyce (Jack) Petramala and brother-in-law of JoAnne Netrefa. Fond uncle of many. Jim was a funeral director for 46 years for family-owned Kiersch-DeStefano Funeral Directors and an associate of the Original Rago Brothers Funeral Home. He will be forever missed by family and friends, especially his grandkids, as his greatest pleasure was being the #1 fan for their many sports and activities.
