Mel (Imelda) was born 5/11/1927 to the late Anthony and Lillian (Wilczynski) Wiedemann and died on 8/6/2012. She married Florian Mizones on 11/24/1956 and in 1960 become the mother of Robert Mizones and Lynne Marie Gotsch. Her brother and good friend Jerry preceded her in death as did his wife, Rita. She was mother-in-law to Kenneth Gotsch and sister-in-law to Stanley Mizones and his late wife Yvette and the late Juanita and Richard Bobek. She was the proud aunt of Mark, Peg, Dick, Diane, Bill, Tony, Kathy, Mary Beth, Brian and Rick and great aunt to Brandon, Jennifer, Bret, Tyler, Ryan and Ben. She resided in the Bridgeport community from birth until 2003 when she and her husband moved to Niles, Illinois to be near their children and grandchildren, Melissa and Rachel Gotsch and Tim and Chris Mizones. She retired in 2003 from Benton House in Bridgeport where she worked in various capacities for 32 years and where she made lifelong friends.
