Helen Warta, 89, passed away on November 28, 2025, at home, surrounded by her family, who loved her very much.

She was born in Rossiter, PA to John and Josephine Dynako. She was one of nine children. Helen enjoyed singing, playing the organ and accordion, and family gatherings.

Helen was the beloved wife of Eugene Emil Warta for 54 years until his passing in 2014.

She was a loving and devoted Mom who is survived by her children Mary Warta and Richard (Gloria) Warta. She was the proud grandmother of Christine Victoria and Richard Alexander Warta.

Helen was preceded in death by her brothers Joe, John, Walter, Mike, and George. She is survived by her sister Ann and brothers Alex and Frank.

Visitation at the Original Rago Brothers Funeral Homes (Irving Park Rd) on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m., prayer service at 10:15 a.m., followed by Mass at Saint Priscilla Church (Addison Street) at 11 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery.
