Geraldine "Girlie" Faiola, 83, of Chicago Il, peacefully passed away on March 9, 2021 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with cancer.

Geraldine was born among four brothers and three sisters on March 29, 1937 to Joseph and Florence Pisano in the bustling city of Chicago. After Girlie graduated from Calhoun Middle School in 1951, she attended Marshall High School on the city's west side.

Loving Mother to five children and many grandchildren, she was also a great-grandmother. Full of life and life of the party, everyone knew when she was in the room.

Services will be held at Rago Bros. (624 N. Western Ave.) on March 17 from 4pm-8pm. There will be a mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (604 N. Western Ave.) on March 18 at 1pm with the funeral at Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside) to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
