Mrs. Frances Perez, age 84, of Chicago, passed away Saturday morning, January 11, 2020, at her residence.

She was born December 2, 1935 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Eugenio Torres and Josefina Medina.

She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Frances is survived by her husband of 66 years, Oscar Perez, Sr. of Chicago; two sons, Oscar Perez, Jr. of Chicago and Richard Perez of Chicago; two daughters, Estrella Perez of Itasca and Rosa Perez of Chicago; seven grandchildren, Talea Limonciello (Chris Merrison, Sr.) of Evans City, PA, Trena Valentine of Hanover Park, Joshua Perez of Chicago, Jordan Perez of Chicago, Taylor Perez of Itasca, Alyssa Perez of Itasca, and Samantha Perez of Itasca; nine great grandchildren, Desilu Contreras of Neville Island, PA, Natalea Limonciello-Merrison of Evans City,PA, Yumalai Merrison of Evans City, PA, Anella Valentine of Hanover Park, Dominic Valentine of Hanover Park, Alphanzo Perez of Chicago.

She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at the original Rago Brothers Funeral Homes, Interment will follow in the Acacia Park Cemetery

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the funeral home
