Florence R. Raz (nee Schuster), born February 5, 1928 to Walter and Meta Schuster passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at the age of 95 surrounded by loved ones.

Florence grew up in Chicago where she graduated from Austin High School in 1946.

A proud retiree of Prosser Vocational High School where she spent 34 years, because she loved working with teenagers.

One evening at a kickers dance, she met and fell in love with Oliver (Bill) Raz.  They married on November 19, 1949 and began their family.

She was a proud member of the Hiawatha Seniors Club.  An "honorary," member of St. Francis Borgia Council of Catholic Women.  She loved spending Monday mornings at Crafters.  Also at St. Francis.

She made many friends and cherished every one of them.

Florence is survived by her daughter Rosemarie (Bob), son Jonathan (Joyce), son James (Mary Beth), Daughter-In-Law Linda, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceeded in death by both parents, husband Oliver, son William, and other family and friends she loved dearly.
