Edward "Eddie" Joseph Foley , age 63, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on February 4, 2026.

Eddie was the beloved father of Shawn Patrick Foley and a proud grandfather to Jonathan James Foley. He was the dear son of the late James Harry Foley and Henrietta Theresa Foley (Eggers).

Eddie worked for many years as a Reprographics Coordinator at the Sears Tower and most recently retired from his position as a Maintenance Engineer at Chicago O'Hare International Airport. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and was, most importantly, a die-hard Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks, Bears, and Bulls fan.

In addition to his son and grandson, Eddie is survived by his brother, Neal Foley; his sisters, Denise Gutierrez and Shannon Edwards; and many beloved nephews, nieces, and members of the Foley and Eggers families.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his cherished brothers, Benedict "Ben" Foley and James "Jimi" Frances Foley; his brother-in-law, Anthony Gutierrez; and his sister-in-law, Deborah Foley

At the request of the family, Eddie's Celebration of Life service will be private.
