Doris Loconti (née Maggio)

July 18, 1956 – July 11, 2026

Doris Loconti, devoted wife and loving mother, passed away on July 11, 2026. She was 69 years old.

Doris dedicated nearly 30 years of her life to serving others as a nursing staffing coordinator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Her compassion and commitment to her work left a lasting impact on colleagues and patients alike. Beyond her professional life, Doris never missed an opportunity to let loved ones know how deeply she cared for them, always ending phone calls or visits with a heartfelt reminder of her love.

Doris’s kindness, strength, and unwavering spirit touched all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Sr.; her parents, Jack and Sarah Maggio; and her brother, John Maggio.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Loconti, Jr. and Stephanie Loconti (Daniel); her brothers, Joe (Ursula) Maggio and Larry (Sandra) Maggio; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Rago Brothers Funeral Home, 7751 W. Irving Park Road, Chicago.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 17.

Doris will be deeply missed, but her love and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
