Obituary

David Aldag was called home on Monday July, 7 after his long battle with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 66. He was surrounded by loved ones as he made his journey and was at peace.

David was born and raised in Chicago and was proud of his roots, his hometown and of the Chicago Bears. Prior to his diagnosis of Parkinson's, he was a Union Brick Mason, where he did a lot of work downtown. He was very proud of the restoration of many buildings, including Soldier Field, where he felt he helped beautify his city. David had a profound love of all animals, mostly reptiles; but later in life found his love for his dog and companion Bear.

David was proceeded in death by his parents Margaret and Benard Aldag and his niece Jessica Aldag. David leaves behind his beloved daughter Samantha Walker, Valerie Krein (Nick), and Jennifer Aldag. His sibling's Timothy Aldag (Ellen), Daniel Aldag, Rebecca Aldag, Mary Santmyer (Anthony). His Grandchildren Matthew Walker (Anna), Taylor Walker, Maddison Kerrigan (Keith), Mary Durkin ,Nathaniel Aldag, Joey Aldag, Kaitlyn Borgardt, Christian Borgardt, Autum Tatman, Jessica Tatman. His Great grandchildren Abel Walker, Avery Martinez, Westley Johnson, Charlotte Johnson and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and a great-great nephew.

Services will be held at Rago Brothers 7751 Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL on Saturday July 12 from 11am-1pm.
