Mr. Daniel H. Ortiz was married to the late Amanda Ortiz for 61+ years. He passed away Saturday August 19, 2023 after a brief illness. He is survived by his children Eva (husband Oscar), Orlando (wife Julia), Oswaldo (wife Veronica), his grandchildren Orlando Jr., Angelica, Matthew, Gabrielle, Delilah, his great-grandchildren Ajla, Elovie, and Haesten as well as his sister Alma and numerous nieces and newphews in the Chicagoland area, the country of Guatemala and other US states.

Daniel will forever be remembered by his loved ones for his warm nature, wonderful smile, great sense of humor and unconditional love.

A visitation will be held on Sunday August 27, 2023 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Rago Brothers Funeral Home (7751 W. Irving Park Road Chicago, IL 60612
