Cristine Beatrice Jablonski (Sepulveda), age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago. She was born May 1, 1952, in Santiago, Chile to Mariano and Cristina (Salazar) Sepulveda.

She is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, John, her sons and daughters-in-law Christian Pozo, Luis and Leslie Pozo, Peter and Kristy Jablonski, and was a loving grandmother to Nadia and Sofia Pozo, Alicia Delcid, Jayden Torres and Tyler Siben.

Cristine came into the United States in 1976 and dealt with adversities but her resiliency defined her as the woman she became. She was petite in stature, which was no match for the size of her heart. She was a selfless woman who tended to others before herself. She carried old traditional values, however, independently driven. She was very generous donating to several charities that deal with kids and military veterans. Second to none as a wife and a mother, she was also a registered nurse, who treated and cared for patients for almost 30 years.

Some of Cristine's favorite pass times included going on nature walks, gardening, cooking, going to baseball games, listening to music, traveling, taking rides on their Harley and spending quality time with loved ones.
