Cecilio Perez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and family man, passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026, at 11:32 p.m. in Chicago, Illinois.

Born and raised in Camuy, Puerto Rico, Cecilio was the loving son of Antonio and Regina Perez. He later made his home in Chicago with his beloved wife, Sandra Perez, where they built a life surrounded by family.

He was a devoted father to Yvette Baez and her husband, Jerry Baez; Sandra Rios; and Reynaldo Perez and his wife, Christina Perez, and a proud grandfather to Jose A. Rios Jr., Jazmyne A. Rios, Cianna Perez, Mia I. Perez, and Reynaldo A. Perez.

Cecilio was a quiet, gentle, and loving man who enjoyed his television, sweets, and cheering for the Chicago White Sox. Above all, he cherished his family and the precious moments he shared with his children and grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
