Ann Bolognani, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on March 13 at the age of 100 at Avantara Nursing Home, Park Ridge.

Born in Erlangen Germany on February 12, 1925, Ann was known for her kindness, strength and her unwavering dedication to her family.

As a German " War Bride" coming to the United States in 1949 with her husband, Jim, her strength &

determination to start a new life knew no bounds.

She just celebrated her 100th birthday on February 12 and though blessed and grateful for all those years and precious memories, one always wishes there could have been more.

Ann is survived by her children, Laura (nee Bolognani) & Tom Hogan, James (Kathleen) Bolognani, Anita (nee Bolognani) the late Bruce Loconti, and the late Daniel (Candy) Bolognani, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other family members.

We will hold you in our hearts forever.
