Obituary

After 5 years of suffering, our brother Angelo Liberati has left the demons that haunted him (Lewy body dementia)

He is now in a better pain free world.

Angelo was born 03/27/46, in Ferentino-Provincia di Frosinone and died-11/08/24 in Arlington Heights.

Angelo came to the USA at the age of 17—he was to make music his destiny.

He was creative and goal oriented. Developed a radio station 24/7 that came live from Italy-along with sports and news. Developed an Italian TV program (channel 26) for the Italian community.

Set up and implemented the very first miss Italia in Chicago pageant. Established 1st annual Nonna of the year pageant in 2004

Implemented and organized concerts, Romina Powers, Al Bano, little Tony, Robertino, Bobby Solo—and others. Italian radios, TV and concerts were his passion.

Head of the Comitato of Chicago for several years, he was involved with Columbus Day parade. Uncle Libero Liberati, world champion cyclist (1947). Organized major fund raising for earthquakes in Italy. Organized many dinners, for distinguished Mayors, Judges, Diplomats Italian Consulates.

Angelo is survived by Guiliana Liberati (Troiani) Mary Pia Liberati (Vanzeyl); Matteo-Marco, nephews, Chiara, Diana, nieces, many friends and confidents. Proceeded in death by his dad-Torquato Liberati and his mom-Vittoria Trenta Liberati
