Lisa Magnusson

Date of Death:
Sunday, July 29, 2018

Lisa Ann Saxinger Magnusson passed peacefully at the early age of 50 in her home in Lisle on July 29, 2018. Her passing was unexpected, and her many dreams and goals yet fulfilled. Born in Chicago on April 16, 1968, Lisa attended school at Chicago’s St. John’s Lutheran Church and Luther North High School before finishing at Forrest View High School in Arlington Heights, IL. In her youth, Lisa studied ballet at the Herstrom School of Dance, played the flute in High School and was a cheerleader for the Forrest View Falcons. Lisa loved to travel to Wisconsin’s north woods with friends and family. She always had a good heart helping others when she was able, and taking those in need into her home. Lisa brought joy and laughter to those around her with her sense of humor, infectious laugh, and good heart. Lisa is survived by her children Jimmy Kalenian and his wife Maddie, Nicholas Magnusson, and Alexandria Magnusson. She loved them all tremendously. She is also survived by her brothers Donald and James Saxinger and by her mother Shirley. Lisa touched the heart of so many friends and family. May her dreams live on in her children and all who knew her.
