Kevin Paul O’Callaghan, 61, of Riverside, Illinois, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at home.He was born in Evanston, Illinois on April 28th, 1962 to parents William Francis O'Callaghan and Patricia Jane O'Callaghan, nee Doherty.Kevin grew up in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago with his 8 siblings, parents, and neighbors who became family. He told many stories of their shared adventures. Kevin worked at the Chicago Board of Trade for many years, and enjoyed the fast paced nature of his work, true to his personality and spirit. He volunteer coached many of his daughter's sports over the years. Kevin is survived by his wife, Monica nee Meder, daughters Natalie Jane and Mary Gabriella, and mother-in-law Rose Meder and his siblings Mary Fran (the late Henry), Timothy (Audrey), Kathleen (Alan), Elizabeth, Madeline (Arthur), William (Diane), and Ann (Brian), and preceded in death by his brother Matthew (Patricia), and his parents William and Patricia. He was a loving uncle and cousin to many in his large Irish family. Kevin loved music, sports, his beloved Chicago White Sox, and making a crowd laugh with his quick wit and sharp sense of humor. Many fondly remember his impressions of various comedians and musicians, and the rise he always drew out of a crowd. 
 

Most importantly, he loved his family over all. His spirit and humor lives on in those who love him.
