Beloved Husband of Rita Mae (nee Doyle).  Loving Father to Laura A. Foster (Tim Murray) and Gerald L. Spearman Jr. (Allen Sterwalt).  Proud Papa to Ryan Michael Foster and Daniel Gerald Foster.  Dear brother of the late Frank H. Spearman Jr.  Fond cousin, nephew, and uncle to many.

“Jerry” was born on February 7, 1938 in Onawa, Iowa to the late Frank and Helen (nee Wilkins) Spearman.  He was cared for by his grandmother, Elsie Wilkins, during WWII and graduated from Chicago Vocational High School in February 1957.  He then started working at Chicago Helicopter Airways where he met his future wife. Jerry held several more jobs over the years – including television technician at Frank’s TV (a family business with his Dad and brother) and school bus driver for Timothy Christian Schools in his retirement.
