Frances "Fran" Rose Marzo

Birth Date:
Thursday, November 25, 1943
Date of Death:

Age 80. Nee Petrarca.  Beloved wife of Salvatore “Sam”.  Loving mother of Dr. Sam (Martina) Marzo, Kerrie (Greg) Klitz, Kathy (Anthony) Rago, and Kim (Major Robert) Klein.  Dearest grandma of Cassandra (Sam) Keller, Emily (Kevin) Goergen, Sam (Lucy) Marzo, Sofia DeLuca, Jack (Melissa) Marzo, Natalie Klitz, Mia Rago, Lindsey Klitz, and the late Megan and Grace Klitz.  Proud Great-grandmother of Verity Keller, Summer Goergen, and Mason Marzo.  Fond sister of Virginia (Terry) Schutz, and the late Kathleen (the late John) Poerio.  Sister-in-law of the late Mary (Norval) Yancy.  Wonderful aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a beloved wife, mom, and grandma.  Fran was a devoted and faithful woman who filled our world with kindness and love.  Her warmth, generosity, and faith were obvious to anyone who had the honor to meet and come to know her.  Her legacy will forever be one of love, generosity, and compassion who found joy in bringing everyone together around her kitchen table and cooking for them.

She will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on with us forever.

In Lieu of Flowers, Donations can be made in Fran's honor to the Mercy Home for Boys and Girls:  donate.mercyhome.org/page/132261/donate/1?ea.tracking.id=25M73SC039&from=header&_gl=1*10jzvju*_gcl_au*MTM0MTAzMDg0My4xNzIyMDM0NDY1
