Anthony Parisi , C.P.D. Ret.

July 11, 1945 - March 22, 2024

Anthony “Tony” Parisi C.P.D. 78 of Chicago. At Peace with Jesus, Friday, March 22, 2024.

Born in Philidelphia to Vincent & Mary, Tony was among seven siblings: Mary DiNapoli, and the late Joseph, Peter, Anne, Margaret, Benny & Jimmy.

Tony was best known for his 40+ years of service as a Chicago police officer, but was more importantly loved for his undying devotion to his family and friends.

Treasured husband of Doreen nee Monaco, married on Valentine’s Day in 1991 and inseparable since; loving father of Lisa (William) Reilly, the late Anthony C. Deerfield P.D., and Angela (Frank) DiFranco

Of all the many titles Tony held, “Grandpa” and “Great Grandpa” were his most beloved. Adoring grandfather of Matthew (Celena) C.B.P., Anthony C. II I.S.P., Nicholas, Michael, Kayla, Paul, Christopher, Frankie and Brenna; Cherished Great Grandfather of Ava and Zachary

Tony was the fond uncle & friend to more than we could ever count.

Everyone who knew Tony knew how much he loved his dog, Boomer. Tony loved to spend time building, fixing and tinkering, especially with his grandson Matthew. He enjoyed countless hours watching his grandkids play sports and was in the stands at every event. Tony could make anybody laugh and did so until his very last day here on earth, and we have no doubt that he is making the angels in heaven laugh from now until forever.

Tony was a legend in 018 and one of my favorite guys, Rest in Peace. Happy to read he enjoyed his retirement & grandchildren, after working his tail off on the job & his trade(s). Tony always made me smile.

So sad to hear of the loss of a good man and friend. Normally, the tears that he left me with were that of joy and laughter. Now, I join his family and friends mourning his passing. Tony was a tough individual toiling many extra hours in the masonry trade as a tuck pointer and bricklayer. But he maintained his soft side when it came to his loving family and friends. To say that he had a sense of humor would be an understatement at best. His natural talent and ability to ad lib any situation into a comedic routine were classics. I'll always remember him for his good nature and dedication to family. Thank you my brother, for all the enjoyable times that we shared. You were truly that overall revered product as, "Chicago's Finest." Rest in everlasting peace and keep em' laughing up there.

Ted Sullivan RETIRED CHICAGO POLICE Rest In Peace Tony This bares repeating: what a Great Guy, and I was thinking that before going and paying my respects this morning and I had forgotten that he did me a near life changing "solid" like decades ago my post on Facebook got 150 RIPs & 70 comments on what a nice fella Tony was, which is a lot for a post like this but not alot for how nice of a guy he was.
